The cabanajam
your Gillardeau oyster tasting
Located on the Île de Ré, on the edge of a cycle path running alongside the sea, come and enjoy Gillardeau oysters on your bike as you go for a ride.
A PLACE DEDICATED TO GASTRONOMY
In spring 2019, La Cabanajam was born, to satisfy a greater number of Gillardeau oyster lovers.
La Cabanajam is open every day in July and August from 10am to 6pm for takeaways and from 11am to 5pm for tastings.. It remains closed for the winter season.
Its tasting room can accommodate up to 120 guests with a breathtaking view of the sea.
In case of bad weather, our establishment will not be able to welcome you.
Always in search of innovation
Maison Gillardeau has created its own scooter. Named
“ Le Petit Gégé “Véronique Gillardeau wanted to pay tribute to Gérard Gillardeau, the grandson of the company’s founder
, with this original concept combining tradition and modernity!
For its creation, Maison Gillardeau once again collaborated with Peugeot Design Lab (now Stellantis Design Studio)after the success of La Marcelle, designed by the studio in March 2017.
Its distinguished, innovative design is inspired by the world of oyster farming, with touches of wood and stainless steel, while its tapered trunk, closed by leather hinges, is reminiscent of the hood of a vintage car.
